The Samsung Galaxy A16 5G has made its launch in Malaysia, featuring a larger display, along with 6 years of promised software updates

Offered in a single configuration only, you can purchase the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G in Malaysia right now. Interestingly, its price tag is RM300 lower than the Galaxy A15 5G it replaces.Between now and the 31st of December 2024, customers will be able to enjoy rewards of up to RM267 when purchasing the Galaxy A16 5G, while stocks last. This includes a 25W Super Fast Charger, a 128GB Samsung microSD card, as well as one year of extended warranty.

Powering the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G is an Octa-core SoC running at 2.4GHz and 2GHz. However, the company did not reveal which specific processor it is, which could either be the Exynos 1330 or MediaTek Dimensoty 6300 chip. As mentioned above, you get 256GB of storage with the Galaxy A16 5G, which can be further expanded via its microSD card slot, along with 8GB of RAM.
