Leo Cullen tells his charges to go for it, the 2024/25 first team slot is up for grabs
Leinster will continue to rotate their out-halves with boss Leo Cullen insisting there is no pre-ordained pecking order.The Blues opened the season with Ross Byrne , Ciaran Frawley, Sam Prendergast, Harry Byrne and Charlie Tector as recognised no10s.
"Yeah it’s competitive," admits Cullen. "We are very lucky we have four unbelievably talented tens. It’s a good position for us to be in, everyone is intrigued by how it is all going to be played out."Frawls is out there too and keen to play ten as well so we’re a bit spoiled for choice. “But it’s been explained to everybody that this is the way we’re doing things. Whoever steps forward will continue on then.
"We have a fair bit of variety in that Ciaran Frawley can play no15 and no12 and Charlie can play no12 and no10 but that is the sort of thing you need in a large squad.
