Para krismawan diseru agar melibatkan diri dalam pelayanan Gereja agar Roh Kudus yang dikurniakan kepada mereka tidak tertidur!Seluruh umat di Zon Senagang menyaksikan penerimaan Sakramen Krisma kepada 41 belia pada Misa Hari Minggu Pentakosta yang lalu.
Misa bermula pada jam 10.00 pagi dan dirayakan oleh Fr Joseph Gapitang di Gereja St Yohanes Penginjil Senagang.Dalam homilinya, Fr Joseph menerangkan tentang Sakramen Krisma secara mendalam. Katanya, Sakramen Krisma merupakan tanda kedewasaan iman seseorang. Penerimaan sakramen Krisma melengkapi rahmat pembaptisan, dan menyempurnakan inisiasi. Melalui Sakramen Krisma, seseorang diikat secara kebih kuat dan sempurna dengan Gereja serta diperkaya dengan daya kekuatan Roh Kudus. Sebelum mengakhiri homilinya, Fr Joseph menyeru kepada semua krismawan agar aktif melibatkan diri dalam pelayanan Gereja. Fr Joseph juga berterima kasih kepada para pembimbing dan ibu bapa di atas sokongan serta komitmen iman mereka.
