Police tweeted a video Monday afternoon that appears to show Stiles walking along a street nearly five hours after her friend originally called 911.
, a man made an initial court appearance related to the disappearance of a missing 18-year-old who had not been found.
Police in Florida are searching for 15-year-old Saige Stiles after she went missing Monday morning. Police have encouraged anyone who sees Stiles to call 911.
"We urge Saige, if you're out there, if you're safe, please call us. You're not in any type of trouble," Dellacroce said."We just want to make sure you're safe." He also said there would be an increased police presence in the area as the search continues and in the coming days, as the location where Stiles went missing is a common area for students walking to school. In addition, police said they had begun using helicopters and bloodhounds to search for Stiles.
Video from WPTV's news helicopter showed several police cars in the area, evidence markers on the ground and an officer searching through what appeared to be a large purse or backpack.
