KUANTAN (Bernama): Malaysia hopes the United States will remove the country from the “K' list of travel advisory issued by the US State Department as soon as possible, says Foreign Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah.

KUANTAN : Malaysia hopes the United States will remove the country from the “K" list of travel advisory issued by the US State Department as soon as possible, says Foreign Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah .

“Anyway, we have lodged our protest and hope to get a favourable decision soon as it's not good for our tourism sector,” he told reporters after launching the Implementation Coordination Unit in the Prime Minister's Department's Sports Carnival at Wisma Belia Indera Mahkota here Friday . The US State Department listed Malaysia and 34 other nations as countries with “risks of kidnapping or being taken hostage by criminals and terrorists”.
