A tragic detail surrounding the toddler who was allegedly stabbed to death by his father has emerged, as residents speak out and strangers leave flowers and a teddy bear outside the unit complex.
Emergency services rushed to a unit complex in Riverwood about 4pm on Wednesday after a female relative called Triple-0 over a concern for welfare.
Police Superintendent Sheridan Waldau told reporters the three-year-old boy and his father had lived at another address.One local on Thursday described feeling as though she was in the United States after seeing the amount of police cars and ambulances on her street. The local grandmother was surprised the 45-year-old father had been in the unit with the three-year-old as the building was home for residents aged over 65.
