Learning a little bit more about home.
And then there are shops, or places, that may take us back to our favourite hang out spots back home. Unfortunately, as we are mostly staying home in hopes to help curb the spread of the virus, the trip to that special spot would have to wait for now.Over the past few months, I find myself going back to a particular Facebook page each time I start missing my home state. It is the official page of the Sabah Cultural Board .
The board employs the help of several “cultural ambassadors” to present these “lessons” via livestreams and video clips. Some of the languages that have been featured include the more well-known ones like Kadazan and Dusun, but there are also lessons on Bahasa Sungai, Tatana, and variations of the Murut language like Murut Timugon and Murut Tahol.
