SINGAPORE: (AP) Pope Francis on Thursday (Sept 12) praised Singapore’s economic strength as a testament to human ingenuity but urged the city-state to look after the weakest, too, especially foreign workers, as he opened the final leg of his tour through some of Asia’s poorest countries in one of the world’s richest.

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Umno has ordered its party machinery state-wide to update its membership lists for each polling district, says Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin.

"They must be prepared to mobilise as soon as the state election is called," the Sabah Umno chairman said on Thursday . "We are satisfied with our preparations at grassroots level so far but we need to further fine-tune and improve it," Bung said, adding that the Sabah Umno committee had discussed the matter at a meeting on Monday .
