PUTRAJAYA: Those returning from Sabah must undergo 14 days of home quarantine even if they tested negative for Covid-19, says Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
The Health director-general said this was because the number of cases involving Sabah returnees continued to rise despite the Health Ministry’s screening and plea for self-regulation.
“They must put on a wristband and must self-regulate using the Home Assessment Tool in the MySejahtera app,” he said. Dr Noor Hisham said up to yesterday, 394 Covid-19 cases in the country were attributed to individuals with recent travel history to Sabah since Sept 22.
