KOTA KINABALU: Sabah expects to collect RM155 million in tithes this year, including RM12.6 million in mandatory tithe from 1.68 million contributors, said Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister Datuk Ruslan Muharam.

He added that RM20.1 million has been allocated for Ramadan aid, with RM18.46 million already distributed to 47,662 recipients under the fakir, miskin, and mualaf categories.Minister Datuk Mohd Arifin Mohd Arif confirmed digitalisation of tithe payments via online platforms and QR codes, and said RM40 million has been allocated for education, including RM25 million for student bursaries.
