Sabah leaders’ wishlist for unity of nation to prevail

KOTA KINABALU: Leaders in Sabah have their own wishlist for the future that includes hope for unity to prevail and that the country’s top leaders honour the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63).

State Rural Development Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick hoped that the country would remain true to the spirit of its formation and for every Malaysians to work together as one, keeping in mind the Rukunegara.

Ewon, who is from Upko, said they should pursue their rights which were accorded through MA63 signed by Malaysia’s founding fathers. Karanaan assemblyman Datuk Masidi Manjun of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia hoped Malaysians could focus less on partisan politics.
