Menteri Peter Anthony berkata bayaran gaji pekerja jauh lebih rendah daripada bayaran kepada syarikat konsesi.

KOTA KINABALU: Kerajaan Sabah menjimatkan lebih RM12 juta sebulan susulan keputusan menamatkan kontrak 6 syarikat konsesi air tahun lepas.

Atas sebab itu, tiada sebab untuk kementerian enggan membayar gaji 1,350 bekas pekerja syarikat konsesi yang diserapkan atau membayar gaji harian, katanya. Beliau berkata pekerja-pekerja itu sekarang ini dilantik sebagai pekerja separuh masa yang dibayar gaji harian.
