Sabah is well endowed with oil resources as well as gas, said Senior Vice President (M) Petroleum Management, Mohamed Firouz Asnan.
For decades, oil has been produced in the inboard areas from fields such as Samarang, Erb West, Tembungo and St Joseph with associated gas being gathered and piped to Labuan as well as Kota Kinabalu.
