KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia reiterates its support for Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as the Prime Minister and president of the party, says Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor .
The Sabah Bersatu chief said in this time of political uncertainty, the party was still firm in its support of Muhyiddin as the Prime Minister and party president. He said this support has not wavered since Bersatu’s supreme council meeting on Feb 23, where majority agreed to leave the Pakatan Harapan coalition.
He said Muhyiddin should be given a fair chance to lead the nation as it battles various challenges including the Covid-19 pandemic. “We hope Muhyiddin and Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad can iron out their political problems for the sake of the people and the country,” Hajiji said.
