CFS assistant chief fire officer Brenton Hastie said it was vital for people to be aware of earlier than usual dangerous conditions. "CFS are shifting resources to the areas of highest concern, which is generally over the western part of the state for the coming weekend, and we'll look to bring some aircraft online early again to be available should an incident occur."SA's Country Fire Service has urged people to be aware of any total fire bans amid hot conditions this long weekend.
"In contrast to last year, temperatures and fuel dryness are about two months ahead of what we saw leading into last bushfire season, and we're about one month ahead of schedule compared to an average season," he said.
