S’wak politicians wish Christians a blessed Holy Week

MIRI: State minister Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah is among Sarawak politicians who have conveyed their well-wishes to Christians who are celebrating Holy Week, the most sacred week in the Christian calender.

In a reflection of the multi-racial and multi-religious spirit in Sarawak, Fatimah, who is a Muslim, said: “To all our Christian colleagues, friends, brothers and sisters, I wish you a blessed Good Friday and a holy Easter.

Fatimah also said that she and the other state ministers would pray for peace and love to prevail among all people.Yesterday, which was Good Friday, marks the crucifixion of Jesus.Sarawak United Peoples’ Party secretary-general Datuk Sebastian Ting extended his well-wishes, too.
