S. Korean taxi driver self-immolates over carpool services

A CAB driver burned himself to death today in protest against the introduction of carpooling services by South Korea’s taxi-hailing app operators, reported the Yonhap news agency, quoting police. The 76-year-old man, identified only by his surname Ahn, set himself on fire about 3am near Seoul Plaza, said police.
