A tabloid claims Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have saved their marriage after nearly divorcing. The story isn’t remotely accurate. Gossip Cop can correct it.
According to, the couple’s marriage experienced some serious hiccups earlier this year, but they’ve managed to salvage their relationship. An alleged insider tells the outlet, “Things got pretty rough there for a while. They were bickering constantly, and there was a point there when friends worried they could be on the brink of divorce.”
The supposed source continues, “It wasn’t easy, but they both made the decision to work on their relationship. And after careful introspection and reflection, they were able to make things right again.” As for what their so-called “problems” entailed, the tipster says Reynolds was “working a ton” while Lively was left “home alone caring for the kids,” which resulted in “lots of fights.”
The “insider” says Reynolds managed to make things right by sitting down with his wife for a “heart-to-heart” during which he “pledge to always put her and the kids first.” “The romance found its way back into their relationship,” says the seemingly phony source, adding that the birth of the couple’s third child over the summer officially saved their marriage.
