The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the death of former NFL quarterback Ryan Mallett, 35.

Once a Raven, always a Raven, RIP Ryan.”First responders were called to the beach at around 2:12 p.m. after reports said a group of people in the water were struggling to get back to shore. Mallett reportedly went under the water and was not breathing when he was pulled to shore by lifeguards, the sheriff’s office says.
