C. Vivian Stringer, who coaches Rutgers' women's basketball team, sent her condolences to the family of radio host Don Imus in the wake of his passing last week. Imus had infamously referred to members of the team with racist and sexist terms in the wake of a 2007 loss.

I think that our players learned a lot from that, and I'm proud of them and our basketball team," Stringer continued. She expressed forgiveness for his statements and turned an eye toward the future."We accept it, and we move forward."
