Russia has extended the detention of US reporter Evan Gershkovich by three months. The Wall Street Journal correspondent was arrested in March on allegations of spying, which he and his employer strongly deny. The US has called for the release of Mr Gershkovich and another detained American Marine, Paul Whelan.
