Despite new US President Donald Trump's assertion that he could end the war within 24 hours, Russia and Ukraine continue to exchange airstrikes. Russia claims to have downed 55 Ukrainian drones, while Ukraine reports destroying an oil depot in Voronezh and an aircraft factory in Smolensk. Ukraine's air force claims to have shot down 93 out of 141 Russian drones. Meanwhile, Russian forces reportedly captured the village of Vovkove in Donetsk. Trump expressed hope that both Zelenskyy and Putin would pursue peace, warning that Putin's failure to do so could worsen Russia's already struggling economy. However, Trump has not detailed a peace plan, though his team hinted he might allow Russia to retain seized territories, including Crimea.
MOSCOW : Russia dan Ukraine terus melancarkan serangan udara ke atas satu sama lain, walaupun Presiden Amerika Syarikat, Donald Trump yang baru mengangkat sumpah jawatan, mendakwa kononnya mampu menamatkan perang dalam masa 24 jam.
