Russia-Ukraine live updates: Kremlin warns Americans will face financial 'consequences' for U.S. sanctions
On Feb. 23, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida issued economic sanctions on Russia, following its western allies amid Ukraine crisis.

Kishida had said Tuesday that the Japanese government would coordinate a “tough” response with Western allies.
