A London think tank said Russia has been forced to rely on older equipment due to the destruction of its modern tanks.
The International Institute for Strategic Studies , a London-based think tank, said in an assessment released Wednesday that about 50 percent of Russia's T-72B and T-72B3M tanks and many of its T-80 tanks have been destroyed by Ukraine's forces.
