Twitter, to me, has become something of an addiction. I use for work, sometimes absolutely can’t do without it for work, but at the same time, with the twists and turns the company’s going through under new ownership, it may not survive. And even if it does, it may wind up being something I can’t take part in anymore.Article content
Very real and measurable damage to things as simple as attention spans, for example, but also damage to our ability to function as a civil society. Its ability to torque us up into near-rage — or real rage —with endless small dopamine jolts makes it as physically addictive as it simply habit-forming.
