The Saskatchewan Rush add seven players via the NLL draft on Saturday.
The Rush, taking part in the National Lacrosse League’s entry draft, selected seven players including one from Saskatoon.Their first add — in the first round, 12th overall — was Calgary’s Levi Anderson, who spent the last four seasons with Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. He was first-team all-conference this past season in the Atlantic-10 after collecting 50 points in 15 games, and set the school record by scoring eight times in a single game.
