Jury selection in the case is set to begin Thursday in Delaware, with opening arguments set for Monday.
| Fox Corp chairman Rupert Murdoch is expected to be called to the witness stand in Dominion Voting Systems’ defamation suit against his company as soon as Monday, according to people familiar with the matter.
“I’m concerned there may have been misrepresentations” made about Fox’s compliance with court rules governing pre-trial information exchanges, Superior Court Judge Eric Davis said in a pre-trial hearing on Wednesday. Fox could face sanctions if it’s found to have withheld or destroyed relevant documents.
Dominion also pointed to the tardy handover of secret recordings of Fox commentators, including Trump lawyers Sidney Powell and Rudy Giuliani, made by a now-fired producer for Fox host Maria Bartiromo’s show as another example of evidence that was mishandled.
