The Ministry of Transportation and the daily 'Kompas' are holding a RUNHUB competition on October 8 2023. This event is part of the commemoration of National Transportation Day.
Adi Prinantyo, Regional Secretary of Surabaya City Ikhsan, Special Staff to the Minister of Transportation Adita Irawati, and Acting Director General of Sea Transportation Antoni Arif Priadi during the inauguration of RUNHUB 2023 at the Youth Hall, Surabaya, Monday .held the RUNHUB running race in Surabaya, East Java, on October 8 2023. This event was held to commemorate National Transportation Day as well as to look for new runners from the east .
Antoni stated during the RUNHUB press conference that the running event was chosen as a part of the celebration of National Transportation Day because running has been considered a simple sport that can be followed by various groups, from the bottom to the top. Running also has a philosophy similar to that of the Ministry of Transportation, which is to move fast. Surabaya was chosen because the city represents the eastern part of Indonesia.
The Ministry of Transportation, said Adita, also collaborated with the daily Kompas because it has experience in holding large events.
