Rumah pekerja sempit dan sesak punca Covid-19 mudah menular

Alongir bekerja di sebuah projek bangunan di Keramat, Kuala Lumpur, dan tinggal bersama 20 pekerja migran lain di lima kabin kontena yang diletakkan di bawah jejambat tidak jauh dari tempat kerja mereka.Papan lapis kayu digunakan sebagai pembahagi dan setiap ruang tidur lelaki dipenuhi beg dan pakaian. Dapur luar sementara sangat asas dan terdedah kepada persekitaran yang berdebu.
“Ini adalah tempat yang diberikan kepada kami. Saya tidak mempunyai cukup wang untuk menyewa di luar,” katanya sambil meminta maaf kerana penguasaan bahasanya yang kurang baik.
