Ruling coalition MPs will support bill to amend constitution, says Sarawak CM

GABUNGAN Parti Sarawak MPs will support the bill to amend Article 1 of the federal constitution when its tabled in Parliament. “Of course ,” Chief Minister Abang Johari Openg said when asked to comment on Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Liew Vui Keong’s announcement yesterday that the cabinet had agreed to amend the constitutional provision to restore the status of Sabah and Sarawak as equal partners with the federated Malay states in the peninsula.
