United have struggled in the transfer market for years, and Keane thinks part of the problem is that players don't want to join the club given its current state.
Roy Keane believes players don't want to sign for Manchester United at the moment due to the current state the club is in.
Speaking on the latest episode of Stick to Football podcast brought to you by Sky Bet, Keane took aim at United's notoriously poor recruitment record since Alex Ferguson's departure and believes Mason Mount's struggles this season epitomize the Red Devil's scatter-gun recruitment strategy.“You wouldn’t want to sign for United at this moment in time, and the player has to take responsibility," said Keane.
“Maybe United, for all of the bad decisions they’ve made over the last 5/10 years, maybe they are getting what they deserve. If they are making such bad decisions at board level and the recruitment side of it, then maybe you just deserve to go through this difficult patch.”
