As part of activities to mark the 2024 Maternal and Child Health, the Rotary Club of Falomo and that of Mushin Metropolitan, in collaboration with PWAN Max and Adept Lessor Limited, on Thursday distributed disease prevention materials to over 100 pregnant women.

To reduce the preventable situation, members of the Rotary Club of Falomo and Mushin Metropolitan, as well as their collaborators, defied the rain to distribute the materials to over 250 women and children at the secretariat of the Iru/VI Local Council Development Area in Victoria Island, Lagos. “Everything we have distributed today is geared towards improving their health and preventing them from contracting diseases. We see it as a way of reducing diseases around us and ensuring we have healthy mothers, children, and nation,” he said.

“So far, we have spent over N3m for this project. We had 100 pregnant women and over 150 women with their children of below five years. In total, they were 250 beneficiaries.”
