The Georgia Supreme Court has reversed the conviction of Ross Harris for the murder of his toddler Cooper, who died after being left in a hot car for hours.

. He did not appeal other charges, including sexual exploitation of a child, which stemmed from allegations that he exchanged sexually explicit messages and photos to an underage girl.

While the charges have been reversed, Nahmias said that the state of Georgia can try Harris again for the crimes against Cooper, and Harris will remain in jail for the other charges in connection to the case.District Attorney's Office plans to file a motion for reconsideration.

Investigators "cherry picked the mountain of electronic data to support the conclusion that murdered his son, ignoring contrary evidence," the brief says.
