Madinah Mohamad, yang ketika itu ketua setiausaha Kementerian Pendidikan, berkata demikian ketika ditanya pendakwa ad-hoc Gopal Sri Ram mengenai bagaimana beliau tahu hubungan antara Rizal dan Rosmah. Rizal pada awalnya berdepan 4 tuduhan rasuah kerana didakwa meminta dan menerima rasuah untuk dirinya dan Rosmah berjumlah RM5.5 juta berhubung projek solar untuk sekolah.Terdahulu, peguam Rosmah Akberdin Abdul Kader bertanya Madinah jika beliau dapat mengesahkan sama ada Rizal adalah pegawai media di unit khas Pejabat Perdana Menteri atau pembantu Rosmah.
