The 50th anniversary lineup at Knott’s Berry Farm will feature 10 haunted mazes, five scare zones and four live shows on select nights from Sept. 21 through Oct. 31.
Consider this your spoiler alert as we embark on a preview tour of the new Room 13 haunted maze coming to the Buena Park theme park.Inside Room 28, a conspiracy theorist has pieced together the truth about the Blind Tiger, the Argive Hotel and the Devil’s Elixir.
The Room 13 maze finally unlocks the Blind Tiger door and takes daring imbibers inside the speakeasy and an Art Deco hotel to see where the deadly illicit hooch is made. Inside Room 5, one of the guests who drank too much of the Devil’s Elixir is climbing the walls with an animatronic assist. In the hotel’s kitchen, you’ll encounter a knife-throwing chef that pays off the attack with a new special effect that will make you think you’re about to become chopped liver.
A broken down elevator shaft provides the only path forward that leads to a darker and dingier wing of the hotel.
