A year on from the devastating death of his elder brother Ciaran, Ronan Keating has opened up about how his family are coping with the loss as the first anniversary of his death approaches
Almost a year has passed since the sudden death of his elder brother Ciaran, and now Ronan Keating has opened up about how his family is coping with the loss.
Now, with the first anniversary of the devastating tragedy looming, former Boyzone star Ronan, who had the heart-wrenching duty of pallbearer at his brother's funeral, confessed at London's Spring Ball that the family is only "doing alright" amidst managing their sorrow - a phase of his life he previously acknowledged as the "hardest time".
The family also mourned the loss of their mother, Marie, to breast cancer in 1998, and have since established The Marie Keating Foundation - a charity that works to enhance awareness of the disease symptoms and provide assistance for those undergoing therapy. Ronan has been a beacon of support for various charities over the years, not only through his family's charity work but also by being an enthusiastic fundraiser. He recently graced the Spring Ball, an event dedicated to raising funds for stroke awareness, and showed his support for causes like The Melissa Bell Foundation and Style For Stroke Foundation.
