Baresi, who won the European Cup/Champions League three times in his 20 years at Milan, added that it was good for European football that Serie A is becoming a force again. “Juve have had an easy time in the last seven or eight years because Milan and Inter have gone through a difficult period with the changing of ownership,” said Baresi, who captained Milan from the age of 22.

“He went through a difficult time but he is doing a good job, he is doing very, very well,” said Baresi.
