New preview art for the series features a brand-new vehicle for Damian Wayne, and it's so much more fun than the Batmobile could ever be.
DC has released new preview art for the highly-anticipated relaunch of Batman and Robin, which will star Bruce Wayne and his son Damian in the titular roles. A wrap-around cover and an interior page reveal more than just new corners of Wayne Manor and even newer characters: Robin is debuting his very own vehicle, and it looks quite a bit like a dune buggy.
But, as always, what matters in a book featuring Bruce and Damian Wayne is how their relationship develops — as well as what gadgets they debut along the way. Along with the Batcave, the Bat-Signal, and his batarangs, Batman's Batmobile is an iconic part of his lore. Robin — except Tim Drake and his Redbird — rarely gets a specific vehicle of his own, but now Damian is once again breaking the Robin mold.
