The criminals invaded hostels at Abapawa – an area of the campus housing the students – and perpetrated the crime in the early hours of Tuesday.
Some suspected armed robbers have raped four female students of Tai Solarin University of Education , Ijagun, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State after invading their hostel.
Reacting to the incident, the state Deputy Governor, Noimot Salako-Oyede, while on the visit to the area alongside the Commissioner of Police, Alamutu Abiodun, and Commissioner of Education, Science and Technology, Prof Abayomi Arigbabu promised that perpetrators would be brought to book.
