Robbers escape with RM1mil worth of jewellery in brazen ambush FMTNews
KUALA PILAH: Two jewellery suppliers were ambushed behind a goldsmith shop here and robbed of a delivery worth an estimated RM1 million.
“The incident happened outside this premises. The two individuals are jewellery suppliers. It was scary as it was the first robbery to have happened here,” she said. Based on the 34-second CCTV recording, the two victims had just alighted from their car parked at the back of the goldsmith shop when they were set upon by the robbers.The other victim apparently dropped the second bag to avoid harm. The robbers escaped with the loot in a silver car.
