The agency has directed the importer, Hong Xin Da, to recall the implicated products. The recall is ongoing. But the use of cyclamate is currently not allowed in walnuts as well as other nut and seed products while the use of acesulfame-K for nuts and seeds products is permitted up to a maximum limit as stated in the Singapore Food Regulations.
