A Palmer Township fire truck crashed while responding to the fire that displaced seven residents.

Maria Domenica Rivas said she owns the home in the 1300 block of Butler Street, on the right side of the duplex. She was in the living room and started to smell smoke, she told lehighvalleylive.com. Rivas lives in the home with her three children and three grandchildren. They don’t know where they will stay tonight, she said. Rivas has homeowner’s insurance, she said.
