SINGAPORE: An offshore vessel firm was fined S$18,000 after a 2023 ransomware attack on its servers allowed hackers to access the personal data of 5,906 people, including employees and their next-of-kin.
NIBONG TEBAL: The RM6.15mil construction of a giant water tank and other facilities to restore water pressure for almost 4,000 users in Universiti Sains Malaysia here will be completed ahead of schedule.
Deputy Works Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan said the project, which started in February last year, was initially scheduled to be completed by the end of August. "I'm glad to announce that the project will now be completed by the end of July, about one month ahead of schedule."For the past 10 years, they have been faced with low water pressure of below 14psi, and this project would resolve the issue," he said after visiting the project site at the back of the campus on Friday .
