RM50 to settle traffic summons from now until May 21
Police are offering traffic offenders a once-in-a-lifetime chance to settle their summonses at RM50 apiece. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, April 19, 2023.
POLICE are offering a special flat rate of RM50 to settle a traffic summons issued in 2022 or earlier. The offer is valid from now until May 21. Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department director Mat Kasim Karim said the offer extends to non-compoundable traffic offences that require offenders to go to court but not to cases that are pending in court.
