Besides that, the government has also agreed with the proposal by the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry to provide incentives for citizens to purchase electric motorcycles or e-motorcycles. Through a scheme to encourage the usage of electric motorcycles, starting in 2024, the government will provide citizens who earn less than RM120,000 annually to get rebates of up to RM2400 to purchase the two-wheeled EV.
