RM10 million to aid traders at Uda malls

SEREMBAN: An allocation of RM10 million in incentives has been set aside by Uda Holdings to assist 1,500 bumiputera entrepreneurs who do business at Uda shopping malls in major cities.

Uda chairman, Jalaluddin Alias, said that as a government-linked company, Uda was responsible for helping bumiputera entrepreneurs, especially during the current coronavirus pandemic. “Besides that, a 20% reduction in rent is also given to tenants after the MCO expires until September while tenants are still allowed to have arrears for three months until Sept 30,” he said here.
