The party's chairman, Hon. Sunny Wokekoro, commended Governor Fubara for presenting the 2025 budget to the Rivers State House of Assembly, led by the Right Honorable Victor Oku Jumbo.According to Hon.

Wokekoro, the 2024 budget has been beneficial to the people of Rivers State, with significant improvements in the state's internally generated revenue. 'Under Governor Fubara's leadership, our internally generated revenue has improved significantly from almost nothing to 100 billion in a short period,' he said.Hon. Wokekoro also acknowledged the impressive developmental projects undertaken by the state government without borrowing any funds. 'We commend the Governor for his prudent leadership and congratulate him for presenting the 2025 budget to the House of Assembly,' he added.The 2025 budget, titled 'Budget of Inclusive Growth and Development,' allocates N462,254,153,418 to recurrent expenditure and N678,088,433,692 for capital projects, totalling N1,188,962,739,932. Hon. Wokekoro expressed confidence that the budget will drive further human and capital development in the state.The APP chairman noted that the party is excited and closely monitoring the situation as the major opposition party in the state.
