KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit edged lower against the US dollar at Thursday's close, pressured by profit-taking after Wednesday's gains and ongoing uncertainties over US President Donald Trump’s policies.
Bank Muamalat Malaysia Bhd chief economist Dr. Mohd Afzanizam Abdul Rashid noted that the USD/RM pair stood at RM4.4378 during the early session but gradually weakened to RM4.4493 by the afternoon.
