Ringgit poised for further gains this week on Fed's rate cut hints; to trade between RM4.3650 and RM4.3750

THE Sungai Bernam Water Treatment Plant (Sungai Bernam WTP) has resumed full operations, says Air Selangor.

KUALA LUMPUR : The ringgit is expected to strengthen against the US dollar this week, driven by signals from the US Federal Reserve suggesting potential interest rate cuts in September.

"So far, June’s headline and core PCE inflation have eased to 2.5 per cent and 2.6 per cent, respectively," he told Bernama. "With uncertainty surrounding the Fed's rate cuts, both in terms of scale and frequency and the central bank's data-driven approach, next week's key US data, particularly core PCE, will be closely monitored by the markets," the firm added.
