PETALING JAYA: Ringgit dijangka mengukuh sekitar RM4.60 hingga RM4.68 minggu ini, sementara menunggu pengumuman kadar inflasi terbaru Amerika Syarikat (AS) pada hujung minggu ini, kata penganalisis ekonomi.

“Ini dibayangi laporan-laporan minggu lalu yang menunjukkan Indeks Sentimen Pengguna AS jatuh kepada 69.1 mata pada Mei 2024 daripada 77.2 mata pada bulan sebelumnya. “Sekiranya data-data inflasi AS masih tinggi dan angka-angka jumlah pekerjaan baharu masih meningkat menunjukkan ekonomi AS tidaklah perlahan, maka kemungkinan besar kadar faedahnya akan berkekalan,” ujarnya.
“Pasaran wang memperuntukkan kira-kira 60 peratus kebarangkalian kepada BoE untuk mengurangkan kadar faedah pada Jun ini,” katanya.
